Mattapan
Tech Computer Technology Program is designed
to prepare highly qualified technicians with
a strong technical background and the skills
necessary for an entry-level position in the
IT industry.
This
is a classroom and apprentice program that
exposes students to the computer hardware,
software, and networking skills necessary to
perform with success and professionalism in
the computer industry.
Upon
graduation from this program, our students
find employment as PC Technicians, System
Administrator, System Engineers or
Information System Specialist, completing
tasks such as building computer system,
installation, maintenance, troubleshooting
and repair computer systems and networks.
Our graduates also work in sales and provide
technical support for both the retail
industry and computer vendor environments.
